Qualification/Educational Criteria : Candidates who wish to apply for this post must posess the following skill and criteria: All eligible candidates must have worked with relevant work experience in the Central Govt. Organizations or Department.


Age Limit(in yrs) : Interested candidates who are appearing for this post should have the age of 56 Years.

Pay Scale/Salary(in Rs.) : Selected candidates would be eligible to get the pay scale of around Rs.15,600 to 39,100 G.P. RS.5,400/- Per Month.

Mode of Selection : Selection will be based on Deputation Basis.

About Prasar Bharati

Prasar Bharati is India's largest public broadcaster. It is an autonomous body set up by an Act of Parliament and comprises Doordarshan television network and All India Radio which were earlier media units of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Prasar Bharati was established following a demand that government owned broadcasters in India should be given autonomy like those in many other countries. The Parliament of India passed an Act to grant this autonomy in 1990, but it was not enacted until 15/09/1997. Mrinal Pandey is the chairperson of Prasar Bharati and Jawhar Sircar is the CEO.
