Qualification/Educational Criteria : Eligible candidates who wish to apply for this post must posess the following skill and criteria: Pass out Intermediate (12th) level exam or equivalent qualification from any recognized Board Govt. of India. Knowledge of Computer & typing speed of 30 wpm in English.

Age Limit(in yrs) : Interested candidates who are appearing for this post should have the age of 18 to 25 Years.
Pay Scale/Salary(in Rs.) : Selected candidates would be eligible to get the pay scale of around Rs.5,200 to 20,200 + Grand Pay Rs.1,900/- Per Month.

The Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity (DAVP) is the nodal agency of the Govt. of India for advertising by various Ministries and organisations of Govt. of India including public sector undertakings and autonomous bodies. At the time of the 2nd World War, the Government of India asked the leading advertisement agencies to form a consortium and set up a publicity unit in Shimla to handle war propaganda, tackle rumour mongering, put out messages about black-outs and handle recruitment to the armed forces.
